

2024 Scholarships and Performance Opportunities
Admission to our festival concerts helps provide these funds.
JLCMTA provides scholarships to students for summer music opportunities as well as support for students who choose music education as a career.
Please contact your student's music teacher if you need more information or print the application provided.
Senior Soloist Competition occurs each year in the month of May. Students need to apply using the Senior Soloist Form in conjunction with their teacher.
Teachers: Please see the portion of the Festival Handbook which clarifies the requirements for this scholarship.

Eligible Juniors (Class of 2025) must have been registered to perform an All-State level solo at the May 2024 festival.

The Steve Worden Scholarship is available to students that are wishing to attend a summer camp for music. Funds are made available to students of JLCMTA school districts. Please download the application from the tab below.

Community Scholarship Opportunities
The 2024 KAI Music Education Fund scholarship is now accepting applications.
This is a $1000 scholarship awarded to deserving college-bound seniors residing in Jefferson County who plan on majoring in music in the fall of 2024.
The application process has several parts to it and can be found on our website at: https://kaimusicfund.org/application
The deadline for submissions is March 15th, 2024. KAI Music Scholarship recital will take place at May 23rd, 2024 @ 7:00pm at the Clayton Opera House.
